Summary  of  the  Role  

This  role  will  take  lead  for  activities  with  Quality  incidents  in  0-km  and  field  and  manage  resident  STA  teams

Main  responsibilities

1.  Lead/Co-ordinate  Resident  STA  Engineers;  
2.  Develop  and  implement  Resident  STA  processes  upon  need;  
3.  Participate  in  the  CMQ  (Current  Model  Quality)-meetings,  such  as  BSAQ(Balanced  Single  Agenda  for  Quality)  PIC(Product  Information  Center)-room,  CCRG(Critical  Concerns  Review  Group),  Local  VCM(Volvo  Cars  Manufacturing  )-meetings,  etc.  
4.  Part  of  the  Resident  STA  &  Lean  Deployment  Support  management  team;  
5.  Support  in  identifying  and  assigning  suppliers  to  resolve  quality  issues;  
6.  Support  in  Warranty  Recovery  Activities  in  case  of  a  Supplier  Process-related  issue;  
7.  Assure  support  from  Site-STA-organization  when  needed;  
8.  Support  deployment  of  quality  performance  requirements,  initiatives  and  training  to  the  Resident  Engineers.    

Qualifications  

1.  Bachelor  or  Above
2.  Mechanical  Engineering,  Material  Science,  EE  or  related  education  
3.  Ability  to  solve  problems  in  a  structured  manner      
4.  Ability  to  manage  multiple  items  at  the  same  time  without  loosing  focus  or  quality      
5.  Have  a  strong  holistic  view  and  high  degree  of  courage,  Integrity  and  business  ethics    
6.  Feeling  at  home  in  an  international  and  diverse  environment    
7.  Positive  attitude,  resolute  and  high  drive  for  results      
8.  Experienced  in  working  cross-functionally      
9.  Good  knowledge  regarding  standard  production  processes    
10.  Very  good  communication  (verbal  and  written)  and  social  skills  
11.  Travel  is  acceptable.        

Experience  Required  

  5~8  years  working  experiences  in  well-known  OEM  or  tier  1  supplier  of  automotive  industry,  in  STA  (supplier  quality  related)  area.  Experienced  in  production  process,  design  and  quality  with  good  knowledge  of  BIW(body  in  white)  or  Interior/Exterior  or  EE(electrical  &  electronics)  or  Chassis  or  Powertrain
