Program  Finance  Manager  report  to  Finance  Director  Product  Strategy  and  Vehicle  Line  Manager  (functional)  and  to  the  Business  Project  Leader  in  the  program.    The  Program  Finance  Manager  China  also  report  to  the  Vehicle  Line  Finance  Manager  Sweden  in  a  matrix  organization.    
            
Major  Responsibilities:              

The  Finance  Manager  will  provide  leadership,  financial  expertise,  processes  and  support  required  to  deliver  these  new  product  that  will  meet  or  exceed  Volvo  Car  Corporation  targets  on  Customer  Satisfaction,  Competitive  Revenue,  Competitive  Cost  and  Profitable  Growth.  

Detail  below  are  the  major  responsibilities  of  a  Finance  Manager  

?  Provide  financial  expertise  and  support  to  the  Business  Project  Leader,  Technical  Project  Leader,  and  the  Project  Team  
?  Responsible  for  developing  Finance  approval  papers  for  VCC  gateways  and  reviews.
?  Responsible,  with  the  Project  Team,  to  deliver  the  established  financial  targets  (Contribution  Cost,  Investment  and  Profits).
?  Lead  the  team  in  making  vehicle  design  and  industrial  decisions  that  support  the  team  in  achieving  their  Contribution  Cost  and  Investment  and  Profit  objectives.  
?  Provide  financial  information  and  presentations  to  Project  Team  on  financial  status  of  program.  (Performance  against  variable  cost,  investment  and  profit  objectives.)
?  Lead  the  Status  of  Major  Programs  (SoMP)  reviews  after  program  approval.
?  Work  with  other  Program  Teams  to  Benchmark,  identify  best  practices  and  ensure  alignment
?  Develop  principles,  processes  and  tools  to  improve  cost  control.
?  Participate  in  special  studies/assignments  as  required.
?  Manage  the  finance  network  in  a  program  including  the  China  Finance  team,  PD  Sweden  Finance  team,  PD  Profit  Analysis,  PD  Investment  Analysis,  Manufacturing  Finance  (L&OH),  MSS  Finance,  Warranty  Finance  and  Central  Product  Cost
?  Work  proactively  with  to  improve  the  program  profitability
?  Support  the  business  plan  process  with  material  cost  and  FTLE  input.

Competence  Requirements

Business  and/or  Technical  university  degree
Excellent  cooperation-  and  communication  skills.
Excellent  management  skills  
Excellent  analytical  skills
Fluent  english  in  reading,  writing  and  conversation
Excellent  computer  skills  (MS  Office)
Experience  in  VCC  Financial  systems  and  Product  Development  systems
