1,Main  Roles
              PE  roles  contain  part  of  the  main  roles  described  below  (and/or).
·    To  develop  and  implement  packaging  solutions  in  projects  and  
    -  BIW
    -  Paint
    -  Engine
    -  Assembly  plants
·    Support  "flawless  launch"  by  participating  in  connected  activities    
·    Represent  Packaging  engineering  in  early  phase  work  against  ME,  R&D  and  Purchasing  
·    Packaging  distribution  responsible  within  VCC  maintaining  the  packaging  production  flows  thru  daily  governance  of  volumes,  transactions  and  investments
·    Fleet  manage  VCC  owned  packaging  against  best  possible  usage  and  cost  structure
·    Develop,  implement  and  maintain  standards  for  packaging  within  VCC  and  potentially  against  automotive  industry
·    Drive  and  implement  assigned  projects  within  PE's  responsibility  area  against  ME,    R&D  and    Purchasing    
·    Provide  daily  support  to  production  units  regarding  packaging
·    Act  as  onside  resource  for  Packaging  team
·    Set  up  packaging  standard,  logistics  requirement  and  training  supplier
·    Release  spec  of  rack/container/box  for  transportation  and  storage
·    To  design  and  confirm  component  packaging  scheme  with  supplier  together
·    Calculate  and  evaluate  cost  of  packaging
2,Responsibility
Secure  that  the  main  responsibilities/roles  above  is  fulfilled  against  VCC's  cycle  plan  based  on  a  landed  cost  base  as  well  as  continually  secure  flows  of  packaging  for  production  in  VCC  units.
3,Competence  Requirements
University  degree  or  equivalent  experience  
Fluent  in  written  and  spoken  English  
Project  leader  skills  
3  or  above  years  experience  on  packaging  design  and  selection.
