Summary  of  the  Role  

Buyer  is  mainly  responsible  for  sourcing  strategy  setup  and  developing  and  maintaining  a  competitive  supplier  base  in  long  term  perspective  and  source  responsible  commodity  per  program  timing  with  high  quality  and  reasonable  price.    

Main  responsibilities

1.  To  effect  negotiations  at  an  optimal  cost  level  according  to  applicable  agreement  structure.  
2.  Lead  development  and  execution  of  supplier  launch  plans  to  assure  that  suppliers  meet  required  In  Plant  Dates.  Assure  commercial  issues  are  resolved  in  support  of  launch.
3.  Make  agreements  and  contracts  and  implement  these  through  the  appropriate  transaction  tools.    
4.  Co-operate  in  cross-functional  teams  to  develop  and  utilise  strategies  to  maximise  corporate  synergies.  
5.  Strive  to  attain  constant  improvements  and  increase  efficiency  by  e.g.  establishing  a  supplier  base  in  accordance  with  the  overall  strategies.  
5.Administration  work  (e.g.  transactions,  updating  price  files,  reporting  of  performance,  resolving  supplier  /  company  issues)  
6.  Act  as  main  contact  for  all  commercial  issues  towards  supplier  base.

Qualifications  

1.  Engineering/Commercial  background  with  bachelor/master  degree.
2.  Working  independently,  good  English  skills.
4.  Good  interpersonal  skills,  pleasant  personality,  cross  culture  understanding,  organizing  and  coordinating  ability.

Experience  Required  

3-10  years  working  experience  in  auto  industry.  Good  knowledge  about  auto  components  especially  about  process  technology.  Very  familiar  with  auto  component  supply  base.
