Vehicle  Attributes  and  Verification  are  responsible  for  the  Perceived  Quality,  Durability,  NVH,  Safety  and  Environmental  attributes  within  Volvo  Cars  China.  Our  main  task  is  to  assure  that  customer  needs  and  program  targets  are  met.  We  are  now  10  team  members  and  are  looking  for  a  talented  and  enthusiastic  colleague  to  join  the  Perceived  Quality  team.


Job  description
Our  task  is  to  develop  a  Perceived  Quality  team  in  Volvo  Cars  China,  with  the  responsibility  for  car  surface  treatment  and  appearance  approval  during  the  car  development,  from  concept  all  throughout  the  product  life.  You  will  contribute  to  a  cross  functional  team  consisting  of  internal  and  external  (suppliers)  competences.


Main  responsibilities  are:
-  Collect  bill  of  Competitiveness  for  setting  the  targets  for  new  program
-  Coordinate  with  Styling,  define  Appearance  Attributes
-  Coordinate  with  Design  Engineers  and  Styling  for  car  surface  component  development
-  Lead  Appearance  Approval  Process,  assess  surface  characteristic  


Competence  Requirements
Bachelor's  degree  in  Material  Engineering  or  Chemical  Engineering  or  Automotive  Engineering  
Fluent  with  both  spoken  and  written  English
Thorough  knowledge  of  engineering  techniques  associated  with  car  surface  component  development
Knowledge  in  surface  treatment  and  appearance  approval,  2-5  yrs  experience.
Excellent  analytical,  problem  solving  and  decision  making  skills  
Interested  in  cars.
Personal  requirements
Focus  on  deliveries.
Good  communication  skills  and  service  minded  
Used  to  discuss  issues,  and  have  good  cooperation,  with  design  departments  and  suppliers.  
Willing  and  ambitious  to  develop  your  skills  as  well  as  Volvo  Cars.
Takes  own  initiatives.


It  is  meritorious  with  experience  from  the  automotive  industry.
