Summary  of  the  Role

  This  role  will  take  lead  for  driving  and  improving  manufacturing  excellence  in  running  production  and  to  co-ordinate  lean  manufacturing  activities  within  VCC  Purchasing.

Main  responsibilities

1.  Provide  strategic  direction  to  drive  customer  satisfaction,  improve  manufacturing  quality  and  reduce/resolve  supplier  quality  issues  
2.  Provide  leadership  to  drive  efficient  deployment  of  STA  resources  within  its  organizational  scope  
3.  Ensure  that  quality  evaluations  are  completed  in  a  timely  manner  to  support  manufacturing  during  running  production  
4.  For  CMQ(current  model  quality)/Plant  Quality  prioritized  concerns,  direct  suppliers  towards  robust  concern  resolutions  and  performance  aligned  with  VQE  requirements  
5.  Support  High  Impact  activities  
6.  Address  and/or  Support  Site  STA  organization  when  needed  
7.  Prioritize  resident  STA  managers,  and  others  with  direct  report,  training  and  provide  timely  performance  feedback  through  the  Performance  Review  process  
8.  Manage  VCC's  Lean  Deployment  team  to  plan  and  execute  Lean  Manufacturing  activities  together  with  VCC  suppliers.  
9.  Contribution  of  developing  methods  and  tools  for  optimizing  the  Lean  Deployment  work  task  
10.Support  VCC  and  Purchasing  organization  with  general  information  about  the  subject  Lean  Deployment.  
11.  Support  VCC  STA  department  in  ways  of  deploying  the  Lean  Manufacturing  knowledge  within  STA  organization.  

Qualifications  

1.  Bachelor  or  Above
2.  Mechanical  Engineering,  Material  Science,  EE  or  related  education  
3.  Ability  to  solve  problems  in  a  structured  manner      
4.  Ability  to  manage  multiple  items  at  the  same  time  without  loosing  focus  or  quality      
5.  Have  a  strong  holistic  view  and  high  degree  of  courage,  Integrity  and  business  ethics    
6.  Feeling  at  home  in  an  international  and  diverse  environment    
7.  Positive  attitude,  resolute  and  high  drive  for  results      
8.  Experienced  in  working  cross-functionally      
9.  Good  knowledge  regarding  standard  production  processes    
10.  Very  good  communication  (verbal  and  written)  and  social  skills  
11.  Some  travel  is  required      

Experience  Required  

  8~10  years  working  experiences  in  well-known  OEM  or  tier  1  supplier  of  automotive  industry,  in  STA  (supplier  quality  related)  area.  Experienced  in  production  process,  design  and  quality  with  good  knowledge  of  BIW(body  in  white)  or  Interior/Exterior  or  EE(electrical  &  electronics)  or  Chassis  or  Powertrain

1.  Required  experience:  Experience  from  STA  program  and  site  CMQ,  BASQ(Balanced  Single  Agenda  for  Quality),  or  R&D(research  &  design)
