General  Description:  

Coordinates  Quality  Policy,  Quality  System,  and  Quality  Planning  to  satisfy  a  customer  with  the  best  quality.  Launches  TS16949.  Guide  system  control  for  the  product  line,  incoming  inspection,  and  quality  system.  Coordinates  plant  operation  system  and  continuous  improvement  in  accordance  with  BorgWarner  Production  System.  

Key  Accountabilities:  

?  Launches  TS16949.
?  Coordinates  and  implements  the  overall  quality  policy  and  plan  for  customer  satisfaction.
?  Implements  continuous  improvement  program.
?  Maintains  quality  assurance  system.
?  Internal  and  external  audit  (ISO/TS  16949,  customer  audit)  and  improvement.
?  Quality  improvement  planning  and  execution  for  quality  system.
?  Environment  improvement  planning.  

Skill  Requirements:  

?  Computer  skills  (Proficient  in  MS  Word,  PowerPoint,  Excel,  Outlook  and  Lotus  Notes)
?  Fluent  in  written  and  spoken  English,  min.  CET6  or  equivalent
?  Clear,  concise  written  and  verbal  communication  capability
?  Works  well  with  others
?  Team  oriented
?  Organizational  skills  (planning,  priority  setting,  delegating)
?  Good  motivator
?  Effective  presenter  –  large  and  small  groups
?  ISO/TS  16949,  QS9000  process  knowledge
?  Knowledge  of  measuring  system  analysis  and  statistical  process  control  

Qualifications  &  Key  Competencies:  

?  BS  Degree  in  Engineering  required
?  Min.5  years  experience  in  quality  control  for  the  production  line  and  quality  system
?  Automotive  industry  experience  required-3  year  min.
?  Internal  auditor.  Substantial  experience  in  quality  system  (QS9000,  ISO/TS16949)
?  ERP  System  experience  preferred
?  Supervisory  experience  preferred
