1.Support  Manufacturing,  Supply  Management,  and  Quality  functions  for  sourcing  and  supplier    development  in  Asia  2.Champion  the  supplier  onboarding  process  for  new  suppliers  including  verification  of  all  aspects  for  process  capability,  quality  systems,  measurement  and  gauging,    manufacturing,  and  capacity  using  the  tools  provided  including  Process  Audits,  Capacity  Studies,  Financial  Risk  Monitoring,  Quality  Assurance  audits,  and  others

3.  Participate  in  the  qualification  of  new  suppliers  as  a  regular  member  of  product  launch  teams

4.Assist  suppliers  in  developing  their  systems  to  achieve  compliance  with  IATF  16949,  APQP,  MAQMSR,  and  Lean  Manufacturing

5.Provide  technical  assistance  to  suppliers  and  be  principal  liaison  between  Asian  suppliers  and  Dayco  operations.

6.Support  achievement  of  Corporate  Quality  and  Cost  objectives  by  providing  education  and  support  to  supply  base  7.  Monitor  supplier  performance  to  quality  and  on  time  delivery

8.  Assist  suppliers  in  completing  corrective  actions,  audit  corrective  action  implementation  and  effectiveness.

9.  Coordinate  supplier  de-sourcing  activities

Requirements:

1.Bachelor  degree  or  above,  Major  in  Chemical  Engineering,  Working  experience  in  rubber  or  tire  for  more  than  7  years

2.Knowledge  of  rubber  or  tire

3.Fully  competent  in  AIAG  Core  Tools  including  APQP,  Process  Flow,  PFMEA,  DFMEA,  Control  Plans,  MSA,  and  SPC

4.Highly  proficient  with  Microsoft  Office  Products;  Word,  Excel,  Powerpoint  required,  Microsoft  Project  is  a  plus

5.  Excellent  interpersonal  communication  and  listening  ability

6.  Demonstrated  strong  leadership

7.  Strong  analytical  and  decision-making  skills
