KEY  ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1)  Support  Potential  supplier  initial  audits;

2)  Support  New  supplier  identification  and  selection  for  commodity  bid  list;

3)  Support  supplier  pre-nomination  from  bidding  list  application  development;

4)  Support  design  review  (Design  to  cost,  design  to  mfg);

5)  Support  supplier  selection  application  development;

6)  Responsible  for  APQP  foe  new  part  number;

7)  Support  change  management;

8)  Responsible  for  scheduled  process  audit;

9)  Support  complaint  management

10)  Responsible  for  PPAP  for  non  NPI  activity  (eg  process  change);

11)  Support  plant  level  supplier  score  card;



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1)  Above  Bachelor's  degree  in  Engineering  or  Technical  degree;

2)  Minimum  5  years  of  work  experience  in  engineering  related  function.  Preferable  in  automotive  industry.  Thorough  understanding  of  TS16949;

3)  Demonstrate  an  expertise  in  at  least  one  of  below  fields;

i.  bearing  or  spring  commodity  ,  high  pressure  casting  ,powder  metal  parts  .  Sound  metallurgy  knowledge

ii.  machining  process  using  different  machinery,  including  precision  machining

iii.  stamping  and  forging  process

4)  Program  management  and  problem-solving  skills,  including  being  able  to  identify,  investigate  and  resolve  supplier  technical  and/or  systemic  issues;

5)  Possess  the  ability  to  be  self-directed  and  simultaneously  manage  multiple  projects  and  objectives;

6)  Solid  interpersonal  communication  skills  are  needed  to  be  able  to  effectively  communicate  (written  and  oral)  to  all  levels  of  Dayco  and  Supplier  organizations;

7)  Fluent  English;

8)  Excellent  blueprint  reading  and  interpretation  skills;

9)  Proficient  in  Microsoft  Word,  Excel,  Outlook  and  PowerPoint.

10)  Has  TS16949  training  experience  is  preferred
