Responsibility

Support  R&D,  Project  Buyer  and  Development  Team  in  Supplier  selection  of  new  buy  components  from  external  supplier  and  all  sourcing  phases

Ensure  risk  analysis  evaluation  in  the  early  project  phase

Participate  to  Technical  Review  and  validate  suppliers  solutions  in  terms  of  Quality,  Capability  and  Timing  in  line  with  the  project  team

Ensure  lessons  learned  application  through  feasibility  committment  and  technical  review  approval

Ensure  the  implementation  of  Commodity  state  of  the  art  and  best  in  class  standards/practice  requirements  in  supplier  processes  throught  the  application  of  Commodity  Quality  Check  List.

Ensure  the  transmission  and  implementation  of    Specific  Customer  requirements

Drive  the  Project  Review  with  the  suppliers      

SDE  is  in  charge  of  the  PPAP  approval  process  (including  tool  payments  when  relevant  and  the  temporary  approval  management  when  applicable)

Support  Change  Management  process  and  promote  second  sourcing  

Take  decisions,  autonomously  solve  problems,  escalate  properly
